Luna V. “Jackie” Goff of Lakeland passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at AdventHealth Lake Wales.

She was born May 20, 1932 in Mooresville, MS to the late Jeff A. and Lillie Hood; she moved to Polk County in 1967. She was a homemaker and member of the Crystal Lake Baptist Church in Lakeland. She enjoyed taking care of her family and neighborhood kids.

Luna was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Goff and a grandson, Kevin. Survivors include her son, Robert “Jeff” Goff (Beth) of Lakeland; sister, Laverne Stinson of Lake Wales; three grandchildren, Alicia, Megan and Keli; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 23, 2021 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
