Luis Rodriguez-Nieves

Luis Rodriguez-Nieves of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, February 09, 2011 at the Saint Lucie Hospice House in Fort Pierce.

He was born August 25, 1931 in Comerio, Puerto Rico to the late Ramon Rodriguez & Paula Nieves; and has been a resident of Lake Wales for 3 years. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was very active in the church.

Survivors include his daughters, Luz I. Rodriguez of MA, Sonia I. Rodriguez of MA, Mariela Rodriguez of MA and Madeline Rodriguez of Lake Wales; sons, Luis Rodriguez, Jr. of Lake Wales, Victor R. Rodriguez of MA and Armando Rodriguez of MA; sisters, Mariana Rodriguez, Natividad Rodriguez, Carmen Rodriguez, Juanita Rodriguez, Luz M. Rodriguez, Ramonita Rodriguez and Norma Rodriguez; sons, Francisco Rodriguez, Octavio Rodriguez and Concepcion Rodriguez; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
