Luis Julian Reyes-Reyes

Luis Julian Reyes-Reyes, 81, of Lake Wales, passed away at his home Thursday, April 13, 2023.

He was born February 17, 1942 in Cuba to the late Sergio and Maria Reyes, he moved here from Miami four years ago.  He worked as a mechanic in a feed processing plant in Cuba, and moved to Florida in 2014. He loved to cook, dance, play guitar, garden, especially vegetables and he loved the outdoors.  He enjoyed traveling back and forth to Cuba.  Luis was a kindhearted man who gave of himself.  But he loved his family most of all.

He is survived by his wife Amada Reyes of Cuba; daughters, Mercedes Reyes and Belquis Reyes both of Lake Wales; sister Enma Reyes of Cuba; and t wo granddaughters, Jessy Martin and Cindy Muñiz.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
