LUELLA IRENE HETHERINGTON, 77

Luella Irene Hetherington of Nalcrest passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2008 in Flint, Michigan.

Born December 17, 1930 in Flint, MI; she came to Nalcrest in 1989. She was a member of the Lake Wales First Church of the Nazarene.

Luella was preceded in death by her husband, LaVern Allen Hetherington in 2006 and a grandson, Todd Alger in 1982. Survivors include her daughter, Yvonne Alger of Flint, MI and Debra Hoose of Fenton, MI; sons, Gary Hetherington of Kissimmee and Dwayne Hetherington of Apex, NC; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Ian) Gardner, Josh Hetherington, Tony (Samantha) Hoose, Cary Hoose and Jeremy (Heather) Hetherington; and three great-grandchildren, Todd, Jenianne and a baby girl.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Friday, September 19, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Wallace officiating. Interment will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
