Lucille Marie Joynt

Lucille M. "Cille" Joynt of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born March 02, 1923 in New Iberia, LA to Michael B. and Aniase (Romero) Babineaux; she came here from Roscommon, MI in 1991. She was a retired Registered Nurse at the New Grace Hospital in Michigan and was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church of Lake Wales, she was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, she enjoyed square dancing, traveling and raising kids.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Jack W. Joynt; daughters, Dorothy Moore of Frederic, MI; Alice Joynt of Phoenix, OR; Shirley Gould of Bay City, MI; sons, John Dudley Joynt of Whitbey Island, WA; Albert "Mike" Joynt of Fenton, MI; Dennis Joynt of Wichita, KS; Robert Joynt of Chesterland, OH; sisters, Theresa Guidry of New Iberia, LA; 16 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren

Visitation will be held Friday April 27, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and the funeral service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Fr. Anthony Bluett officiating. Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Holy Spirit Catholic Church(644 9th street south Lake Wales, Florida 33853).
