SEBRING -- Ms. Lucile Elizabeth Gehrett of Sebring died of complications following a stroke Thursday (March 16, 2006) at Florida Hospital in Sebring. She was 93.

Born in Shepherd, Mich., on June 5, 1912, she came to Sebring from Deerfield Beach in 1987. She was a retired cook for Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Mich. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Shepherd, Mich. She was a Methodist.

Ms. Gehrett is survived by her cousins, Mildred Sterling, Evanston, Ill., Charles Sterling, Mary Sterling Lee, both of Mount Pleasant.

Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens in Mount Pleasant, Mich., under the direction of Berry Funeral Home.
