LAKE WALES--Lowell E. Petefish of Lake Wales died Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at his residence. He was 86.

Born March 24, 1920 in Springfield, IL; he came to Lake Wales in 1977 from Springfield, IL. He was a retired self-employed farmer.

Mr. Petefish was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Mae Petefish in December in 2000. Survivors include his daughter, Bonnie J. Pool of Lake Wales; son, William B. Petefish of Portsmouth, NY; sister, Mary J. Jurgens of Decatur, IL; and 3 grandchildren.

Family will be receiving friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Friday, December 01, 2006 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held at Bisch Funeral Home in Springfield, IL with interment at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, IL.
