Lourenia (Bunch) Watkins

Lourenia (Bunch) Watkins, 91 of Frostproof, Florida passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at Florida Hospital Heartland in Sebring, Florida.

She was born February 17, 1927 in London, Kentucky to the late George Henry and Flora (Davidson) Wilson and she has been a resident of this area for 34 years moving here from Iowa. She was a retired Nurse’s Aide. Lourenia was a member of the 7 ^th Day Adventist Church in Fort Meade, she collected Norman Rockwell Cups, enjoyed, her God , her family, flower and vegetable gardening, crocheting, reading and search word puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mat Watkins; parents, 4 sisters, 3 brothers and 1 granddaughter.

Survivors include her daughters, Betty Watkins Chilson ( Robert) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Wilma Watkins Barnhart ( Ed) of Frostproof FL; sons, Frank Daryel Watkins (Donna) 0f Frostproof, FL, Willard Watkins ( Sharon Sutter) of Frostproof, FL, Brent Watkins ( Kim) Frostproof, FL; sisters, Polk Harris Dople of London, KY, Dorothy Craft ( Jack) of Barbourville, KY, Nina Pennington of London, KY; brother, Bob Wilson of London, KY; 16 grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 2:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home  of Frostproof with Brent Watkins Officiating. Interment will be held at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
