Louise Goolsby, 90

Louise Goolsby of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Lakeland Regional Hospital.

She was born April 11, 1930 in Frostproof to the late Wells and Lillie Mercer. Louise was a retired Loan Officer for 1 ^st Union Bank which later became Wells Fargo Bank. She was a member of West Side Baptist Church.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Holland Goolsby; son, Scott Goolsby; sisters, Daisy Goolsby, and Nellie Mercer; and brothers, David Mercer and Jimmy Mercer. She is survived by her sons, Guy (March) Goolsby of Lake Wales, and Alan (Sandra) Goolsby; and two grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the Lake Wales Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Bolden officiating. Per family request, facemasks and social distancing are required. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Florida Baptist Children’s Home.
