Louis Milton Medlock, Jr.

Louis Milton Medlock, Jr., 91, of Lake Wales, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Lake Wales Medical Center.

Born July 8, 1927 in Orlando, FL to the late Louis M. and Emily C. (McQuaig) Medlock, Sr. He was a landscape director for Mountain Lake Corp for over 50 years before retiring, and he was a member of the Lake Wales Moose Lodge, and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching westerns, but most of all enjoyed time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; son James “Mad dog” Medlock and daughter in law Gail Medlock.

Survivors include his children: Louise Price (Ted), Jane Harrison (Alan), & Dale Medlock; grandchildren: Dale “Bubba” (Jenny), Angel (Joel), Jason, Colby all from Lake Wales and Kelly from the UK, great grandchildren: Michael from the UK, Jordyn, Kenny (Danielle), Skye, Chase, AJ, Hunter, Anna, Ben, Nick, & Logan; great great grandchildren Savannah and Trenton, all from Lake Wales.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 6, from 10:00 to service time at 11:00 a.m. at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
