LAKE WALES--Louis J. DeLamarter, Jr., 89, of Lake Wales died of heart failure Friday, July 13, 2007 at his home.

Born February 26, 1918 in Grand Rapids, MI; he came here 50 years ago from Michigan. He was an equipment dealer.

Survivors include his sons, Lawrence K. DeLamarter of Boston, MA; Louis J. DeLamarter III of Toronto, Canada; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
