Lou Ann Glass Mccoy

Lou Ann Glass McCoy, 59 Lou Ann Glass McCoy of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. She was born March 25, 1957 in Lake Wales, Florida to the late Albert and Margie (Gatlin) Glass. She has been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a Daycare owner. Lou Ann was the longest member of the South Lake Wales Church of God and also volunteered there. She loved children, and was the leader of the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, and was band president and band mom of Lake Wales High School. She loved catering and cake decorating and even made her own wedding cake. She loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 31 years Jim McCoy of Lake Wales, FL, son Albert John McCoy of Lake Wales, FL, sister Penny Glass of Winter Haven, FL, she helped raise nieces and nephew Ashley Danielle Cole; Deana Arleen Rouchka, Jason Dennis Rock, grandbabies Landon James Rouchka, Riley Jae Rouchka, special friends DeLynn Imel, Ruthie Welch, Lottie Sanders, Denise Shelton and Linda Brown A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00AM Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the South Lake Wales Church of God Lake Wales with Pastor Chad Tingley officiating.
