Loretta Mae Miller of Lake Wales died of heart failure Thursday, December 07, 2006 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. She was 89.

Born March 24, 1917 in Columbus, Ohio; she came to Lake Wales in 1986 from Lima, Ohio. She was the owner/operator of Springbrook Beauty Shop in Lima, Ohio. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Wales. She was active in various senior citizens’ groups and enjoyed shopping and traveling. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, John F. Miller of Lake Wales; daughters, Marilyn Arora of Galena, OH; Nancy Croissant of Orange, CA; Joanne Crites of Rochester Hills, MI; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 until service time at 3:00 PM, Saturday, December 09, 2006 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Hooten officiating. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery. Family request in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to the American Heart Association.
