Lorene Kersey Smith

Lorene Smith of Frostproof went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, October 28, 2011 at her residence.

Lorene was born September 20, 1926 in Frostproof to the late Henry and Sudie (Bryant) Kersey. She loved her Lord, family and church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Dewey Smith; three sisters, and one brother.

She is survived by her daughters, Ann (Wayne) Rash, Bobbie (Johnny) Walton, both of Frostproof; special daughter, Alicia Littleton of Babson Park; grandchildren, Johnny (Chrissy) Walton, Katina Conley, and Bobbie (Thomas) Spradlen, all of Frostproof; great-grandsons, Kodi, Jordan, Johnny Jr., Jared, and Tate.

Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Monday, October 31, 2011 at the Frostproof Church of God, with visitation from 2:00-3:00 PM. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice (105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823) or Frostproof Church of God Youth Ministry (104 Hwy 630 West, Frostproof, FL 33843).
