Lonnie Sousa

Lonnie Sousa, 43, of Lake Wales and formerly of Frostproof, Florida passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015.

He was born October 20, 1971 in Hollywood, Florida to Caroline Sousa and has been a lifelong resident of Frostproof and attended school there. He was a Security Guard for Warner University. Lonnie enjoyed spending time with his children, coaching ball, riding his motorcycle and was active in church functions. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Renee Cannon Sousa; daughter, Casey Sousa of Lake Wales; sons, Cameron and Maximus Sousa both of Lake Wales; mother, Caroline Albritton and step father, Larry Albritton of Frostproof; brothers, Shawn Smith and Gary Smith both of Pennsylvania; one grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, June 8, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday from 12 noon until service time.
