Lonnie William Retherford

Lonnie William Retherford, 36, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2016 in North Fort Myers. He was born on August 25, 1979 in Lake Wales, Florida to Anthony Retherford and Debbie Rheiner. He was an Automotive Mechanic and a graduate of North Fort Myers High School. Lonnie was a racecar driver and a fan of Dale Earnhardt and Earnhardt Jr. He is survived by his parents, Anthony Retherford (Kelly) and Debbie Rheiner (Steve), children Hunter Retherford of Ft. Myers, Joey Retherford of Ft. Myers, Jace Retherford of Lake Wales; Ashlyn Retherford of Ft. Myers; his “Granny” Phyllis Simmons; Maternal Grandfather, William Bryant and Maternal Grandfather, Marvin Barker; and his sister’s Keyla Retherford and Danielle Wingate and brother Christopher Wingate, Fiance, Taylor Bogart. Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Mark McDowell and Pastor Garnet Pitts officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Memorial Gardens.
