Lois Wilson Sheffield

Lois Sheffield, 84 of Frostproof, Florida passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at the Bartow Center in Bartow.

She was born on August 17, 1931 in Metter, Georgia to the late Paul and Lilly B. (Lacy) Wilson and she has been a resident of this area since 1932 moving here from Metter, Georgia. She was a retired Bank Manager for Citizens Bank of Frostproof and she was a member of the Frostproof Church of God. Lois enjoyed traveling, playing cards, family times, reading and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Perry Wilson and Grady Wilson.

Lois was survived by her husband of 69 years, Kelly Sheffield; daughters, Sissy Wise of Lakeland, Yvette Weghorst and husband Richard of Gainesville; son, Jerry Sheffield and wife Karen of Lake Wales; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be held 10:00 AM Friday, June 3, 2016 with the Funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Church of God Frostproof with Rev. Rodney Cannon officiating. Interment will be held at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
