Linda J. Weigand

Linda J. Weigand of Frostproof passed away peacefully Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

She was born May 14, 1946 in Rushville, PA and came here from Ithaca, NY 15 years ago. She graduated from Wyalusing Valley High School in 1964, was a retired secretary for Warner University, and was of the Presbyterian faith. She loved her family, animals, to read, and trips to the Hard Rock Cafe.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Weigand, this year; her father, William Whitmiller in 1996; and niece, Kim Renee Repsher in 1965. Survivors include her daughters, Kelly Burke of Frostproof, Lisa Wurzel of Pennsylvania; step-daughters, Lisa Lorer and Suzi Muñoz of New York; mother, French Whitmiller; sister, Sharon Taylor of Pennsylvania; brother, William Whitmiller of Pennsylvania; and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by dear friends, Gerald Tucker of New York and Pat DeVelder of Florida.
