LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Linda Cheryl Waters of Lake Wales died of cancer Wednesday (Oct. 26, 2005) at Palm Terrace Hospice House in Lakeland. She was 46.

Born in Norfolk, Va., on Jan. 18, 1959, she was a longtime resident of Lake Wales. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Elks Lodge. She was a Lutheran.

Mrs. Waters was preceded in death by her husband, William Waters. She is survived by her daughter, Jenna Lynn Waters, Frostproof; stepdaughters, Mary Neff, Frostproof, Denise Odom, Holly Springs, N.C.; son, Ryan Waters, Frostproof; stepson, William Waters Jr., Lake Wales; sisters, Shelley Kyser, Bartow, Julie Griffis, Royal Palm Beach; four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Lake Wales. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Lake Wales Cemetery.
