Linda Lee Swearingen

Linda Lee Swearingen of Lake Wales passed away Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

She was born December 14, 1957 in Avon Park to the late Henry Blain & Doris (Gore) Meeks; she grew up in Avon Park, but spent many years of her life in the area. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed latch hooking, Nascar, camping, cooking, cats and dogs.

Survivors include her husband, Robert E. "Bob" Swearingen, Sr.; son, Robert E. Swearingen Jr of Lake Wales and Rickey Swearingen (Shanna) of Palmyra, MO; sister, Sheila Miller of Bolivar, MO; brother, David Meeks of Fredericksburg, VA; and three grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the Lighthouse Baptist Church with Rev. Joseph Edwards officiating.
