LINDA LUCILLE COPE, 83

Linda Lucille Cope of Babson Park passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022, at The Groves Center.

She was born March 1, 1939, in Michigan to the late George and Gertrude Roger; she has been a resident of Babson Park for 40 years, coming from Michigan. She was retired from Jimmy’s Restaurant. She loved going to yard sales, shopping and playing bingo. She enjoyed cooking, especially holiday meals.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Lloyd Eugene Cope and her children; Lloyd "George" Cope and Linda Cope.

Survivors include her daughter, Debra Butler (Mike) of Frostproof; sons, Gregory Cope (Judy Johnston) of Babson Park, Ricky Cope of Frostproof and Danny Cope of Stanton, MI; brother, George “Mike” Roger of Greenville, MI; sisters, Mary Maule (John) of Michigan, Hazel Smith of Michigan, Patricia VanWarmer of Michigan and Laura Forist of Michigan; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2022, at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2022, at Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof with Rev. Wrynn Collins officiating.
