Lillian R. Whaley 87, of Frostproof passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the Royal Care of Avon Park.
She was born December 31, 1925 in Plant City, FL to the late William Samuel & Mollie Collins; and she first came to the area from Plant City in 1962. She was a retired store manager and was of the Church of God faith. She enjoyed fishing, Chihuahua dogs and was an avid collector of
Coca-Cola memorabilia.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie E. Whaley and two sons Eddie Whaley and Herbert Whaley.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Couture and husband, Gordon of Sebring; sons, Glen Whaley and wife, Annette of Frostproof and Charles R. Whaley of Destin; and eleven grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren
Graveside service will be held 2:00 Pm Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Crewsville Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof.
