Lilas Marcile Ohly

Lilas Marcile Ohly of Lake Wales passed away from a long battle with Alzheimer's on Saturday, April 11, 2009. She was born on November 4, 1938 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late William Stanley & Frances (Hershey) McFarland. Marci moved to Florida in 1974, where she raised her three children and grandchildren. Making paper dolls for the girls was her favorite.

Marci was preceded in death by the father of her children, Dave Ohly, a granddaughter, Katherine Ann Ohly, a brother, Wayne McFarland, and a sister, Ruth Ellen Kulow.

She is survived by her son, Steve Ohly & wife Rosemarie of Lake Wales, her son, Greg Ohly & wife Amy of North Carolina, her daughter, Diann Parrish & husband Richard of Wyoming, sister, Nancy Kindinger of Ohio, sister-in-law, Carol McFarland of Ohio, 20 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A private service for the family will be held at the gravesite.
