Lester “Mike” Landes, 67

Lester “Mike” Landes of Lake Wales passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, at AdventHealth Lake Wales.

He was born July 14, 1957, in Harrisonburg, Virginia to the late Lester and Grace Landes; he moved to Lake Wales from Verona, Virginia in 1968. Mike was a dedicated tow truck driver and operator for Robinson Auto and Sunbelt Towing. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. He was a family man who always loved spending time with his family.

Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Brown. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Cyndi Landes; daughters, Brandi Bailey of Lakeland and Kellie Donaway (Landon) of Lakeland; sons, Bobby Landes (Amber) of Lakeland, Levi Landes of Alabama, Robert Lee (Hillary) of Indiana, and Zachary Landes of Lake Wales; sisters, Susan Maynard of Lake Wales and Christina Boone of Lake Wales; brother, Bill Landes of Lake Wales; and grandchildren, Mason Bailey, Madison Bailey, Tucker Garland, Keiland Donaway, Noland Donaway, Kelsey Donaway, Dylan Nicholas, Aubree Coker, Ryder Landes, Shawn Lee, Johnny Lee, William Landes, and Emmett Landes.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Lake Wales with Rev. Father Timothy Nunez officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the GoFundMe set up by the family (https://gofund.me/17807c03).
