Leota Kroeger, 92

Leota Kroeger, age 92, passed away peacefully at her home in Lake Wales, FL.

She was born August 8, 1929 in Bathe County, Kentucky. Daughter of Earlie and Grace (Bohanan) Hunt.

Leota was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Dale; brothers, Jewell, Tom, Earl, and Robert; half-brother, Clarence; sisters, Clairine, Pauline, Alice, and Juanita; and sons, Mark, Richard, Ronald, and Donald.

Leota is survived by her daughter, Lynda; sons, Richard, Jr., and Brian and his wife Veronica; daughter-in-law, Rebecca; and grandsons, Richard, Marcus, Alex, and Michael.

She loved being a mom. She helped raise three generations. First when her mom died, she helped raise her brothers and sisters, then she raised her own children, and when her son died, she helped raise his children.

Leota loved having a booth at the flea market where she met people who became friends then family. She was ready to go home to be with her heavenly family.

A private burial will be held and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
