Leonard Whittington passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

Born September 8, 1926 in McCrae, GA; he came here over 60 years ago from Georgia. He was a retired caretaker for the Mountain Lake Corp. and was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include his son, Tony Whittington of Lakeland and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, September 5, 2008 at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
