Leon Munson Gravley

May 18, 1937 — November 5, 2015

Leon M. “Pinky” Gravley, 78 of Frostproof, Florida passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Somers Hospice house in Sebring.

He was born on May 18, 1937 in Brevard, North Carolina to the late William and Mattie (Gillespie) Gravley and he has been a resident of this area since 1955 moving here from North Carolina. He was the owner operator of Pinky Gravley and Sons Painting. Pinky was a longtime Baseball and Softball coach for over 60 years, an avid FSU Fan and was of the Assembly of God Faith.

He was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Doris Gravley; sons, Gary Gravley (Debra) of Frostproof, Greg Gravley ( Kay) of Frostproof, Reggie Gravley (Melinda) of Frostproof, Garrett Gravley of Frostproof; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating.

Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Frostproof Historical Museum.
