Lenward "Duck" Mcelroy

Lenward “Duck” McElroy, 77 of Frostproof passed away, Saturday, August 15, 2015 at his residence.

He was born on February 22, 1938 in Frostproof, Florida. He was a retired Citrus Harvester. Duck enjoyed yardwork and loved spending time on his reedy creek property.

Survivors include his son, Henry E. McElroy of Frostproof; sisters, Betty Underwood of Frostproof, Bo Foster of S. Haven, Michigan, Dolly Foster and husband Albert of S. Haven, Michigan, brother, Lester McElroy and wife Carolyn of Frostproof; 1 grandson, Gene McElroy and 1 great grandchild, Abigaill.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 Am Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Charles Mathews and Rev. James B. Wood officiating. Interment will be held at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
