Lawrence Walter Penn, 65, of Winter Haven passed away Saturday October 20, 2007 due to cancer at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.

Born January 19, 1942; he came to Winter Haven from Washington DC. He was a computer analyst for the U.S. Government; served in the U.S. Air Force; and was involved in the Republican Party.

Lawrence was preceded by his father, David Penn. Survivors include his sons, Richard Penn of Harrison Township, MI; Robert Eric Penn of Warren, MI; mother, Dorothy Penn of Calvert County, MD; and 8 grandchildren.

Funeral services are pending.
