Lawrence Clifford Guptill

Lawrence C. “Larry” Guptill of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

He was born on March 1, 1943 in Beloit, Wisconsin to the late Clifford John and Arlene Naomi (Barnes) Guptill and has been a resident of this area since 1997 moving here from Pompano Beach, Florida. Larry was a Line Manager for Executive Airport in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida retiring in 1980. He loved airplanes and was an avid NASCAR fan.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Maureen E. Guptill; daughter, Tammy Cook and husband Don of Columbia, SC; sons, Chris Guptill and wife Karen of Deerfield Beach, Matt Guptill and wife Missy of Mint Hill SC, Jason Guptill and wife Kristi of Hickory, NC; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
