LAKE WALES--Laura F. O’Quinn, 93, of Lake Wales died Monday, July 23, 2007 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.
Born April 17, 1914 in Dublin, GA; she came here from Dublin, GA 66 years ago. She was a retired sectionizer for Citrus World. She was of the Church of God faith and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. O’Quinn was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O’Quinn. Survivors include her son, Rev. R.L. (Alice) O’Quinn of Auburndale; grandchildren, Joy Wood of Oviedo; June Colvert of Vero Beach; Joel O’Quinn of Auburndale; Joan Gentgen of Vero Beach; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 26, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Interment will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Auburndale.
