Laura "Kitten" Bickford

Laura “Kitten” Bickford, 60 of Lake Wales passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 at the Lake Wales Medical Center due to organ failure.

She was born January 24, 1954 to the late Raymond and Ruby (Ward) Perdue in Mullens, West Virginia and has been a resident of the area for 33 years coming from West Virginia. She was a retired Convenience store manager. She enjoyed going to the beach, dancing and spending time with family.

She is preceded in death by her sisters Sue Whisman, Wanda Holiday, Brothers Ralph Perdue and James Perdue.

Survivors include her Companion M.C. Gann, daughter, Susan “Lisa” Bracken and husband Kevin of Auburndale, Fl., Son Joseph “JoJo” Bickford of Chuckey, TN., Sisters Janice Miller of Lake Wales, FL., Nancy Grosz of Lake Wales, Fl., Althea “TI” Moody of Lake Wales, FL., Brothers Ray Perdue and wife Dinah of Oak Hill , WV., Danny Perdue and wife Debbie of Lake Wales, Fl., 8 Grandchildren J.C., Anna, Tera, Austin, Rebecca, Jennifer, Alycn, Richard and 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 1:30- 3:00PM Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with services at 3:00PM with interment at Glen Abbey Cemetery in Auburndale.
