Larry C. White, 71

Larry C. White of Waverly passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born May 25, 1950 in Orlando; he has been a lifelong resident of Waverly and Haines City. He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army and a graduate of Florida Southern College. Larry was a retired irrigation contractor in Polk County for over 40 years and a member of First Baptist Church of Waverly. He was a devout Christian, taught Sunday School, and could play and write music. He was also the Vice President of the Lakeland Camellia Society, and a member of the A.C.S. and I.C.S.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Clyde White; and daughter, Crystal Charlon White. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Delores D. White; daughter, Jennifer Candace Davi and husband Joseph of Orlando; son, Christopher Glenn White of Calvi, France; step-son, Aubrey W. Davis of Waverly; mother, Geraldine Stewart of Lake Wales; and grandchildren, Kendall Grace Davi, Palmer Joseph Davi, Hunter Brock Davis, and Lillian Chrystine Davis.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Waverly with Rev. David Durham officiating.
