Larry Wilson Strawderman

Larry passed July 6, 2017 at 4:05 a.m. when he met his Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Larry was born and raised on Bunner Ridge, West Virginia on November 18, 1945 to Doris Jean Strawderman and Woodrow Wilson Strawderman. He is survived by his loving and faithful companion of 53 years, Carrol Riffee Strawderman. Also surviving, are two children Johna Lea Jozwiak and her companion Tim Wagman of Haines City, Florida and his son Trevor Wilson Strawderman and his fiancée Jodi Everhart of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Larry had four grandchildren that he loved very much Bri Lea Jozwiak of Winter Haven, Florida, Thor Joseph Jozwiak and his wife Samantha Jozwiak of Palm Harbor, Florida, Brynn Taylor Strawderman and Lexi Rae Strawderman of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Larry proudly served in the U.S. Army for 6 years. He retired from United Parcel Service with 25 years of safe driving. Larry most loved his family, fishing, hunting, golfing, gardening and his West Virginia Mountaineers. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Christiano, nurse Kat Taylor and Dr. Shamna at the Winter Haven, Florida ER, the emergency transport and Dr. Mark Jackson and staff at Shands hospital in Gainesville, Florida.  Larry requested cremation and a private family service at a later date in the West Virginia hills that he always called home.
