Larry Mirkle

February 20, 1952 — March 20, 2012

Larry Mirkle of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born February 20, 1952 in Fremont, MI to the late Charles and Wilma (Root) Mirkle; and came to Lake Wales from Ruskin, FL six months ago. Larry was a retired electrical superintendent in construction, of the Baptist faith, and served in the United States Navy. He loved fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Karen Mirkle; sons, Scott (Kristin) Mirkle of Greensboro, NC and Charlie (Sarah) Mirkle of Chesapeake, VA; sisters, Jody Hamilton of Orlando, Susan Gibbons of Tennessee, Barb (Jim) Stenger of Michigan; brother, Chuck (Charlotte) Mirkle of Winter Haven; three grandchildren, Tyler, Gavin, and Cora.

Memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, March 23, 2012 at the American Legion Post 148 (7240 US Hwy 301 South, Riverview, FL 33569).
