Larry Lester

Larry L. Lester, 76, of Avon Park, passed away in Sebring.

He was born January 2, 1941 in Hastings, MI to the late Leonard and Doris (Hill) Lester; he moved to Frostproof in 1984 from Michigan. He was the owner/operator of the Northern Pest Control Company in Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly S. Lester; and a son-in-law, Audie Hanpachern.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Joan Lester; daughters, Kathleen J. Hanpachern of Mountainview, CA and Karen Hickey of Delton, MI; sister, Peggy Butler and her husband, James of Hickory Corners, MI; brother, Linden Lester and his wife, Jan of Spring Valley, CA; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church in Frostproof with the Rev. Buzzy Elder officiating.
