Larry Lee Howard

Larry Lee Howard was born on August 29, 1958, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He passed away on June 10, 2026, at the Vitas Inpatient Unit of AdventHealth Lake Wales.

Larry lived a life filled with love for those around him and a strong connection to his faith. He was an active member of the Green River of Life Church, where he found joy in both worship and fellowship. He especially loved the people at his church and played in the church band, sharing his musical gifts with the community. Larry also had a special habit of handing out little Bibles, spreading comfort and hope in simple ways. He was a member of the Circle of Friends in Lake Wales, which was important to him.

Family meant a great deal to Larry. He enjoyed visiting his niece and nephews and treasured the time spent with them.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Velmer and Lois Howard. He is survived by his sisters, Shirley Pettett and her husband Donald of Haines City, Patty Goswick of Oklahoma, Mary Beard of Murray, Kentucky; brother Jim Howard and wife Rena of Corsicana, Texas; as well as his niece and nephews. 

Larry will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul who loved his faith, his family, and the simple joys of life. His presence will be missed by all who knew him.
