Ladonna Klingshirn-Meek

LaDonna Klingshirn-Meek, 85

LaDonna Klingshirn-Meek of Babson Park passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Monroe County Hospice House in East Stroudsburg, PA.

She was born September 7, 1937, in New Cleveland, OH to the late William and Agnes Klingshirn; she moved from Frostproof to Lake Wales in 1964 where she lived until moving to Pennsylvania. She was retired from the Polk County School Board and was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

LaDonna was preceded in death by her daughter, LaDonna “Kathy” Meek; sisters, Mary Jane Caudle, Rosemary Tanner; brothers, Donald "Don" Klingshirn and Bob Klingshirn. Survivors include her husband, Charles H. Meek, Sr.; daughter, Theresa Bretch of Orlando; son, Charles H. Meek, Jr. (Patricia) of Saylorsburg, PA; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. The funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof.
