Kyle Horace DeVane, 51, of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at his residence in Frostproof. He was born on November 26, 1965 in Plant City to the late Gerald Berton and Carolyn Weeks DeVane. He has been a resident of Frostproof for the past 18 years and was a retired lineman for Progress Energy. Kyle participated in the Federation of Christian Sportsmen and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Fellowship Church in Frostproof. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bert DeVane. Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Danette Fewox DeVane; daughter, Misty B. DeVane of Frostproof; son, Michael B. DeVane of Frostproof; self-adopted daughter, Rudie Fox and her son, Coby; brothers, Kevin J. (Susan) DeVane of Plant City and Craig A. DeVane of Plant City; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2016 and the funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2016 at Emmanuel Baptist Fellowship Church in Frostproof with Pastor Larry Dailey and Pastor John Essignmann officiating.
