Kitty F. Batchelor

Kitty F. Batchelor of Waverly passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at the Life Care Center of Winter Haven.

She was born June 7, 1931 in Winter Haven to the late Raliegh and Elizabeth Kirkland; and has been a lifelong resident of the local area. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Waverly. She loved to cook, writing poems and playing bingo. She was very crafty, had a green thumb and loved the Lord.

Kitty was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh R. Batchelor. Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Ann Slaughter (Jim) of Bartow; son, Louis R. Batchelor (Sandra) of Auburndale; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. David Durham officiating.
