LAKE WALES--Kenneth A. “Kenny” Dykes, 63, of Lake Wales died Sunday, September 23, 2007 at his home.

Born July 18, 1944 in Eustis, Florida; Kenny lived most of his life in Gotha and Winter Garden, working in the citrus business and moved to Lake Wales about 6 years ago. He was of the Protestant faith and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Winter Garden Elks Lodge #2165, Lake Wales Moose Lodge 2391, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR.

Kenny was preceded in death by his daughter, Tonya Spears of Clermont; and a grandson, Dalton Kennedy. Survivors include his daughters, Cynthia Dykes of Astatula, FL; Tamara Silva of Ocoee, FL; sister, Sandra Hubbard of Tavares, FL; 4 Grandchildren, Kimberly Smith; Katie Kennedy; Chandler Kennedy; and Max Spears; 2 Nephews and 1 Niece.

As per Kenny’s wishes cremation is scheduled and there will be no services.
