Kenneth Alan Brice

Kenneth Alan Brice, Sr., of Lakeland, FL, passed away at his home on May 24, 2023.

Kenneth was born on August 24, 1942 to John and Elizabeth Brice in Lake Wales, FL. He attended Lake Wales High School, where he met and courted his lifelong partner and wife, Barbara Ellen Bonneman. In 1968 he became a private pilot and began working as an agent for National Aviation Underwriters. He later founded KB & Associates, an aviation insurance agency in Lakeland, FL where he and Barbara raised their family of four children. In 1996 he sold his agency and became a partner in Falcon Aviation Insurance Company, eventually retiring in 2018.

Kenneth was predeceased by his father, John Henry Brice; his mother, Elizabeth Estes Rodenbom; and his eldest and beloved son, Kenneth (Kenny) Brice, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Bonneman Brice; his children Eric Brice, Beth Mulrine, and Katie DiCesare; and his grandchildren Mia Brice, Benjamin Brice, Jack Brice, Emma Brice, Erin Mulrine, Emily Mulrine, Isabella Dicesare, Roman DiCesare, and Dominick Dicesare.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral service. A memorial celebration for family and friends will be held on a later date. It was Ken’s request that in lieu of flowers, in honor of his wife, children, and grandchildren, a donation be made to Smallwood Store Museum (PO Box 310, Chokoloskee, FL 34138) as they are all part of the Edgar Watson’s legacy.
