Kathy Huggins Conner

Kathy Huggins Conner, 80 of Alturas, Florida passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Florida Hospital Orlando.

She was born October 27, 1934 in West Bay, Florida to the late Calvin and Queenie Whitehurst Huggins and has been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a grader for Alcoma and Donald Duck Citrus Plants and she was of the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years James Wilson Conner and daughter, Kathy Conner Carlson.

Survivors include her daughters, Kitty R. (Daryl) Bundrick of Bowling Green, Linda Ochoa (Jaime Vasquez) of Lakeland, Melodie Spradley (William) of Bartow; sons, Jimmy N. (Inez) Conner of Lake Wales, Jerry W. (Judy) Conner of Lakeland, James W. (Tasha Howard) Conner of Alturas, Terry L. (Nita) Conner of Alturas, James C. (Lisa) Conner of Texas; sisters, Laura Sharp of Lake Wales, Debra Scarborough of Lake Wales, Wanda Faye of Alabama; 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 10, 2015 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. David Groves officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
