Kathryn E. “Kathy” Ward, 53 of Lake Wales, Fl. passed away suddenly of heart failure Saturday, July 5, 2014 . She was born March 20, 1961 in Brookville Pa., to Robert and Brenda (Long) Kingman. She was a resident of the area for 8 years coming here from Brockport, New York she was a cook for Wendy’s.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert Kingman.
Survivors include her mother Brenda(Ralph) Peake of Brockport, NY; sons, Robert Ward of Lake Wales, Fl., Donald Porter Jr. of Lake Wales, FL.; daughters Gena Ward of Port Charlotte, Fl., Amanda (Michael) Card of Statesboro, Ga. ; sister Brenda (Jay) Eggleston of New York, her step-siblings Karen Peake of Rochester, New York, Donald (Dawn) Peake of New York. Many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. fiancée Eric Wills of Lake Wales, Fl., 6 grandchildren who affectionately called her MeeMaw.
Services an internment will be held privately.
