Kathryn Ann Stephens, 84

Kathryn Ann Stephens of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Somers Hospice House in Sebring.

She was born March 26, 1938 in Habersham, TN to the late Charles and May Rose. She has been a local resident for 6 years, coming here from Ohio and was a Jehovah’s Witness.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her daughter, Melisa Jane Stephens; two brothers, Bobby Joe Rose, and Hubert Benjamin Rose; and one sister, Brenda Alberta. Survivors include her daughters, Andrea Frazier (Rodney Niel Harvey) of Lake Wales and Phyllis Anita Bell of Ohio; son, Doyle Stanley Bell of Fresno, CA; sisters, Phyllis Pagel of Ohio, Glenda Richards of Tennessee, Elaine Smith of Tennessee and Kimberly Rose of Frostproof; brothers, Jerry Baird of Tennessee, Bill Baird of Tennessee and Edward Baird of Tennessee; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 3:00pm Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Interment will follow at the Whidden Cemetery.
