Katherine M. Hilliard

Katherine M. Hilliard of Winter Haven passed away Monday, November 14, 2011 at Lake Howard Heights in Winter Haven.

She was born August 21, 1930 in Waverly to the late Guy and Anna (Boe) Hilliard; and has been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a retired Polk County School teacher, attended the First Presbyterian Church, and served in the United States Army. Katherine also was a member of PEA, NEA, Circle 9, Presbyterian Women, and worked for the Library Committee at the church.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, November 18, 2011 at the Lake Wales Cemetery. Contributions may be made in her memory to Good Shepherd Hospice (105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823).
