Karen Senterfitt Sims of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at her residence.

She was born November 13, 1947 in Lake Wales to the late Pat and Helen Senterfitt. Karen was a retired Administrative Assistant for the President of the Bayfront Medical Center and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Frostproof.

Karen is survived by her husband of 50 years, Eugene Wesley Sims; son, Wesley B. Sims of Statesville, North Carolina; and brother, Freddie L. Senterfitt and wife Kathy of Lake Wales.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Pastor Garison Taylor and Pastor Buzzy Elder officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
