Karen Futch Schaefer

Karen Futch Schaefer of Lake Wales passed away Friday, November 19, 2010 at her residence.

She was born December 15, 1953 in Fort Myers, and came to Lake Wales from Hallendale, FL in 1986. She was a retired school bus driver and of the Baptist faith.

Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Renie Mae (Spradlin) Futch. Survivors include her daughters, Charlene Corbitt of Lake Wales, Michelle Corbitt Ladner of Bartow; father, Hulon Futch; grandsons, Justin D. Lee and Ranger Barnhorst; sister, Katherine C. Roney of Inglis, FL; and brother, Wayne K. Futch of Inglis, FL.
