Julia Ellis Livingston, 87 of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at her residence.
She was born June 5, 1926 in Frostproof, Florida to the late Aaron B. and Eva R. (McRae) Ellis and has been a lifelong resident of the area. Julia was a Self Employed Citrus Grower. She was a Founding member of the First United Methodist Church of Frostproof for over 60 years. Mrs. Livingston was very independent person that loved working in her groves and happiest while riding through them. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Marshall Livingston
She is survived by her daughters, Marsha Manley and her husband Buddy of Sebring, Judy Bagwell and her husband Frank of Frostproof; sisters, Minnie Dempsey and Dolly Woodley both of Frostproof; brother, Billy Ellis of Frostproof; 3 grandchildren, Frank Bagwell III, Laci Brooker and Allisa Manley; 3 great grandchildren, Easton Bagwell, Marlee Brooker and Karsyn Brooker
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church of Frostproof with Pastor Brian Smith officiating.
Interment will be held at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
Contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Frostproof.
