Julia Marie Dykes, 63, of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Winter Haven Hospital.

Born November 1, 1944 in Panama City, FL; she came to Lake Wales from Gainesville in 1998. She was a Human Services Agent for the State of Florida and was of the Baptist faith.

Julia was preceded in death by her parents, W. Wayne and Julia P. Dykes; and a brother, Jimmy Dykes. Survivors include her brothers, Walter W. Dykes, Jr. of Lake Wales, Ronald E. Dykes of Santa Fe, NM and Bruce A. Dykes of Winter Haven.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 5, 2008 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, June 6, 2008 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
